In an op-ed in the Times of Trenton on June 22, 2003, Dr. Robert Slavin describes the gains on New Jersey’s fourth grade assessment in Abbott schools from 1999-2002 as “nothing short of phenomenal.” Dr. Slavin developed Success for All, a program in use in 67 Abbott elementary schools.
