Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro to Keynote ELC’s 16th Annual Education Justice Lecture: “Protecting Public Education During the Trump Administration”

Join Education Law Center virtually on Monday, May 19, at 5 p.m. ET for our 16th annual Education Justice lecture. This year, we are honored to welcome Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3), a champion for public education and working families.

Congresswoman DeLauro serves as Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Committee, sits on the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee, and is the Ranking Member of the Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations Subcommittee, where she oversees our nation’s investments in education, health, and employment.

Her keynote remarks will discuss the impact of Trump’s first 100 days in office on public education. Her presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.

The Education Justice Lecture is ELC’s annual fundraiser. Because all of our services are provided free of charge, we depend on your generous contributions to continue our vital work in support of educational opportunity and justice for public school students. Please support our efforts by purchasing an ad in our event journal or by making a donationSee below for more information about sponsorship opportunities.

Please contact ELC Program Assistant Kaitlyn Comesañas with any questions about the event.
