ELC WELCOMES NEW TRUSTEE, CONTINUES STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH ETS

Lenora Green, Executive Director of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Center for Advocacy and Philanthropy, has joined the Education Law Center Board of Trustees. Ms. Green’s colleague and ETS General Counsel, Glenn Schroeder, is leaving the ELC Board after seven years of service.

Ms. Green’s relationship with ELC dates back several years. She has served on the organization’s Event Committee, providing invaluable assistance with ELC’s annual awards reception. Last May, she expertly handled the duties of moderator during ELC’s Education Justice Lecture, which featured representatives from the Ford, Dodge and Schott Foundations.

“Lenora is a staunch supporter of ELC’s work, and it has been a pleasure and an honor to work with her the past few years,” said David Sciarra, ELC Executive Director. “Now that she has joined our Board, we look forward to deepening that connection.”

At ETS, Ms. Green oversees philanthropy, social investment, community relations and employee engagement. In that capacity, she manages and builds relationships with local, state and national partners to promote educational opportunities for disadvantaged students. She also serves as an appointed member of the Executive Steering Committee of the ETS Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Ms. Green has extensive experience working with nonprofit and community organizations, and has served on the National Urban League’s Advisory Council on College Access and Success; the Advisory Board of the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities’ Office for Access & Success: the Advancement of Public Black Universities and Hispanic-Serving Institutions; the National Advisory Committee for the College Board’s A Dream Deferred™ conference; and the Board of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) of Mercer and Burlington counties.
